Verification:
Verification is one of the major thrust areas of Masamb in which the expertise includes Transaction level modeling, Coverage driven Verification, Random Constraints Stimuli, Assertion based Verification using SystemC and SystemVerilog. The services in verification have ranged from best use of Verification Tools& methodologies to SoC Verification and have involved debugging techniques, Assertion Modeling, Functional Coverage modeling, and Sequence Generation. The Verification IPs developed/ being developed is being implemented in both SystemVerilog &SystemC besides some proprietary languages and environments.
IP Design:
Masamb has proved itself in the market for developing foundation IPs for its customers which include Standard Cells, Memories and IOs. The capabilities in this space include circuit design, layout, characterization (and view creation) and verification. Besides the physical IP's, Masamb also focuses on development of Logical IPs and Verification IPs. Masamb has developed Verification IP's for many blocks – one of the most recent projects being Verification IP's for various MIPI blocks. Masamb's experience with Design IPs include development of Network-On-Chip(NOC), RISC MCU, DSP and other peripherals and also integration of these into a multi-core SoC for a customer to serve their need for a platform to validate their EDA toolset.
Low Power Design Implementation:
Masamb's expertise in Low Power Design Implementation encompasses CPF/UPF based low power flows/methodologies from front-end to the back-end. The core-skills include RTL Synthesis, Timing Analysis, DFT, Formal Verification, Physical Design Closure (Floorplanning, Clock Tree Synthesis, P&R, Timing, Noise, Power& IR-Drop/Electromigration Analysis and Physical Verification). Besides, the team has good experience in applying various low power design techniques like MSMV, Power-shut-off, DVFS etc. The services in Design Implementation encompass complete RTL to GDSII implementation in Synopsys, Cadence and Magma flows in 32nm, 45nm, 65nm, 90nm, 130nm. Masamb has credentials in working on Physical Design expertise across complex blocksand has experience with MMMC timing closure on flat as well as hierarchical designs.
Embedded Systems:
Realizing the increasing inseparable nature of development of chips and systems and the embedded software (drivers/stacks), Masamb's has recently started focusing and building a world-class team in this space. The immediate focus areas are driver development/porting, RTOS porting, mobile platform application development etc.
